Our chimney sweeps are fully trained, qualifed and insured
At Paterson Stoves, our sweeps are approved by the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps and are HETAS and Furanflex registered. In addition, two of our chimney sweeps have obtained an NVQ certificate in chimney sweeping that demonstrates their competence.
For those who need a chimney swept, we operate an area system where we concentrate on one area at a time, with the majority being within the Aberdeenshire area.

After each sweep, we issue an insurance approved sweeping certificate.
Many insurance companies stipulate that chimneys are swept and certificates should be issued by a certified sweep in order for your insurance to remain valid, which is why we give you a copy for your records.
